Authorities in Bishkek Identify 37 Foreigners Violating Migration Laws

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that 37 foreigners have been found to violate migration laws in Bishkek. According to the ministry, protocols were drawn up for the foreigners under Article 431 of the Administrative Code for "Violation of the established procedure for staying, working, or transiting through the Kyrgyz Republic by foreign citizens." Among them, 14 are Pakistani citizens, while 23 are Bangladeshi citizens.

Efforts are currently underway to identify the individuals or entities who invited these foreigners. The Ministry stated that in the first three months of 2024, law enforcement agencies identified 59 cases of organizing illegal migration, with all gathered materials being submitted to court. During this period, a total of 6,080 violations of migration laws in the Kyrgyz Republic were identified, resulting in fines totaling 19,097,000 soms.
