Another company from Kyrgyzstan - "ProffLab" - has been sanctioned by the United States. The updated list was published on the website of the U.S. Department of the Treasury on May 1st.
According to Washington, "ProffLab," like other sanctioned companies, is involved in the production of technologies for the Russian defense industry. The company, according to the Ministry of Finance, supplies electronic components to enterprises located in the Russian Federation. In particular, it sold American-made equipment for testing electronics.
"ProffLab" was registered on March 17, 2022, as indicated in the electronic database of the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic. It is headed by Evgeny Khomen. The company is engaged in wholesale non-specialized sales.
It is worth noting that earlier, five more companies from Kyrgyzstan were included in the U.S. government's sanctions list for cooperation with Russia.
