Juzumjan village in the Aksy district of the Jalal-Abad region is taking precautionary measures as ten families residing in a hazardous area are being temporarily relocated to a safe location due to the reactivation of an old landslide. This information was shared by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the ministry, special transportation has been allocated for the relocation of the families to a secure place, and employees from the district department of the ministry have been mobilized for this task.
In the Jalal-Abad region, there are 1,020 hazardous areas, with 1,067 families still living in these zones. Annually, during the spring-summer season, personnel from structural units issue reminders to local authorities and residents to remain vigilant.
