The Ministry of Emergency Situations warns of avalanche risks due to recent and expected snowfall from March 11 to 13. Areas at risk include sections of various highways:
- 121-138 km on the Bishkek-Osh road (Töö-Ashuu), 198-260 km (Chychkan gorge)
- 292-305 km on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart road (Dolon Pass)
- 55-115 km on the Myrza-Ake-Kara-Kuldzha-Alaykuu road
- 68-101 km on the Ala-Buka-Kanysh-Kyia road
- 0-90 km on the Krasnaya Gorka-Ak-Tash road
Drivers are urged to maintain a 500-meter distance between vehicles on avalanche-prone sections due to icy road conditions.
