An international terrorist organization participant who was wanted internationally has been detained. This was reported by the press center of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS).
According to the SCNS, as part of a criminal case for the involvement of a Kyrgyz citizen in armed conflicts or military actions on the territory of a foreign state, or undergoing terrorist and extremist training, as well as for inciting national interethnic, racial, religious, or interregional enmity, on May 4 in Turkey, a native of the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region was detained and deported to Kyrgyzstan.

“In November 2015, she was transferred to Syria, where she participated in an armed conflict on the side of the terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusra,” the SCNS reported.
Currently, investigative measures are being carried out, and a preventive measure of detention in a pre-trial detention center of the SCNS KR in Osh and Osh region has been chosen for the detainee.
