A former drug control colonel who had been on the run for nine years was apprehended in Osh, as reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service.
According to the information provided, during operational and investigative activities, R.Kh., born in 1963, was detained after evading justice for nearly nine years. He had been wanted internationally since 2015 for drug trafficking.
Following a decision by the Osh City Court, the man has been placed in pre-trial detention at the Interior Ministry's detention facility.
