in News / Tajikistan - by

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan (MVD RT) is inviting citizens to become mobile journalists and actively participate in the fight against crime and violations of law, as reported by the department on its official website.

According to the department, citizens can submit videos and news through the MVD hotline regarding organized crime, terrorism, extremism, human trafficking, smuggling, illegal drug trafficking, and other violations of law.

The department also welcomes reports of violations of citizens' rights by government officials, fraud, involvement in witchcraft, fortune-telling, illegal religious education, and the organization of events such as "khodjitabon," "khodjioshi," "khodjiziyorat."

In accordance with the legislation, individuals who assist in detecting crimes and maintaining public order are rewarded with benefits, cash prizes, valuable gifts, state awards, and other forms of recognition.

The MVD also calls on every citizen to actively join "the fight for safety and justice in our society."

It is worth noting that on April 20, the Internal Affairs Department of the capital launched a mobile reception point for citizens' appeals and complaints under the name "Mobile Police Point."

The specialized transport began its operation as part of the announcement of the year 2024 as the "Year of Legal Education" and the implementation of the Police Reform Program and Strategy.

The duration of the initiative is not yet clear, but within its framework, the capital's police promise to directly reach out to citizens, receive their appeals and complaints, provide legal assistance, as well as collect suggestions that can be submitted for discussion to the Public Council on Police Reform.
