The US Embassy in Astana has announced an auction for the sale of property, which will take place on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
According to the embassy's announcement, items up for auction may include household and office furniture, appliances, carpets, mattresses, shredders, copiers, IT equipment (monitors, computers, scanners, printers, copiers, UPS), televisions, DVD players, repair equipment, tools, consumables, lawnmowers, trimmers, snow blowers, forklifts, and tires, and will be available to all interested parties.
The auction will be held in the parking lot of the US Embassy in Astana. Participants will be required to pay a registration fee of 20,000 tenge per number. Bids will be in tenge.
"The amount of this fee will then be deducted from any purchased lots or refunded if the participant does not win any lots. If the amount of the purchased lot is less than the registration fee, the difference will be returned. If a participant wins a lot and refuses to pay, the registration fee will not be refunded," the embassy noted.
This is not the first auction of its kind. In 2019 and 2022, the embassy held similar auctions.
