Relatives of the Kazakh woman who went missing in Germany are trying to obtain a visa as soon as possible to travel and search for her. The brother of Aigul Sailibaeva suspects that his sister may have been subjected to violence by her husband and mother-in-law. He told KTK that the missing woman did not disclose the abuse to her family, but her friends had suspicions.
"After the disappearance of my sister, I now hear and see from her friends how she shared her sadness and the suffering she endured from physical and psychological pressure from her husband and his relatives, particularly his mother. There are photos showing bruises, injuries, bruises, and swollen ears. In the last month, she did not appear in video calls with us," said Kanat Sailibaev, the brother of Aigul Sailibaeva.
It is noted that Aigul Sailibaeva left Kazakhstan with her husband back in 2020. They lived in different countries but were recently in the German city of Bensheim, according to her brother.
Kanat Sailibaev claims that the missing woman's husband did not want to disclose their actual address to law enforcement. As a result, a search of the apartment was only conducted three days after her disappearance.
The last time Aigul Sailibaeva contacted her relatives was on June 3. However, Kazakh diplomats learned about the woman's disappearance only on June 5 when her family approached the consulate.
Earlier, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Aibek Smadiyarov, stated that the German police are searching for the missing Kazakh woman.
