National Bank of Tajikistan and the Central Bank of Uzbekistan have signed an Agreement in the field of control over the activities of a credit organization, as reported by the press service of the National Bank of Tajikistan.
The document is aimed at expanding mutual cooperation by coordinating the views of the parties on issues of regulation and control of the activities of the financial credit organization, licensing procedures, inspections, crisis management, local control, and remote monitoring.
Another aspect of this document concerns the control over the process of obtaining and processing financial reporting, identification and monitoring of risks in the activities of the credit organization, implementation and application of the Basel Committee standards on banking supervision, conducting audits of the credit organization's activities, and exchanging information.
The Agreement was signed during the spring sessions of the member states of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank Group. The signatures were put under it by the head of the NBT Tolibzoda Firdavs Nazrimad and the chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mamarizo Nurmuratov.
During the signing of this document, the bank leaders discussed important issues of the banking and financial system and further expansion of cooperation in the field of information and experience exchange.
