Tajikistan to Release Third Edition of Red Book with 245 Animal and 304 Plant Species

Tajikistan is preparing to release the third edition of the Red Book, which will include 245 animal species and 304 plant species. Compared to the first edition in 1988, the new book will feature 83 new animal species and 78 plant species. 

This updated edition aims to raise awareness about the conservation of endangered species and highlight the rich biodiversity of Tajikistan. The Red Book plays a crucial role in protecting and preserving the country's flora and fauna by providing valuable information on endangered species and promoting conservation efforts. The inclusion of new species in the latest edition underscores the importance of ongoing conservation initiatives and the need for collective action to safeguard Tajikistan's natural heritage.
