in National Security / Tajikistan - by

During a meeting discussing measures taken in response to the attack, Alexander Bastrykin, the head of the Investigative Committee, revealed that three suspects in the "Crocus City Hall" terror attack case provided an apartment and a car to the attackers. The detained individuals assisted in preparing for the attack by offering the assailants a place to stay, a vehicle for transportation, and facilitating the transfer of funds.

On the evening of March 25, the Basmanny Court extended the arrest of three more suspects until May 22: Aminjon and Dilovar Islomov (the latter owned the white Renault used by the terrorists) and their father, Ismoil Islomov. According to the investigation, one of the previously arrested suspects, Shamsiddin Fariduni, allegedly recruited Aminjon Islomov into an organized group no later than January, and Dilovar Islomov no later than March 11.

Earlier, the court had remanded four suspects – Shamsiddin Fariduni, Mukhammadsobir Fayzov, Dalerjon Mirzoyev, and Saidakram Rajabaliyev – in custody for two months. Bastrykin stated that all four had admitted their guilt. In total, 11 individuals were detained in connection with the case on March 23.

One of the detainees, as seen in interrogation footage published by RT's editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan, recounted through an interpreter that a man named Abdullo, whom he had met on Telegram 10-12 days prior, offered him and his roommate Muhammad to buy a car from his relatives. They met during the deal on Dmitrovskoye Highway, intending to use the car for taxi work.

A source familiar with the situation, as reported by "RIA Novosti," mentioned that Dilovar Islomov sold the car in February without transferring the mandatory OSAGO insurance policy.

To recap, around 8:00 pm MSK on March 22, before the "Picnic" rock band concert at "Crocus City Hall," individuals in camouflage opened fire and set a fire. The blaze spread over an area of approximately 13,000 square meters, eventually extinguished by the following evening, leaving the concert hall completely burnt down with the roof collapsed. The latest reports indicate 139 fatalities and 182 injuries.
