President of Tajikistan presided over a government meeting on March 29, instructing the approval of a plan for timely preparation of the country's economic and social sectors for the upcoming fall-winter period of 2024-2025 and the establishment of a republican headquarters. Specific directives were given to ensure sufficient reserves of materials, rational use of water resources, reduction of technical losses in electricity, proper collection of electricity fees, and promotion of energy-saving culture among the population.
Ministries, executive authorities of regions, cities, and districts, as well as other enterprises, were tasked with providing detailed information on the implementation of the action plan by the 10th of each month. The government members also reviewed the action plan for the 2024-2026 Health Protection Strategy until 2030, the activities of the Agency for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage, and the pricing and payment procedures for ecotourism in specially protected natural areas.
The President reiterated the mandatory compliance with the directives issued on March 9 during a meeting with representatives of the public and religious figures, emphasizing strict enforcement of laws on "Regulating Traditions, Festivities, and Customs" and "Parental Responsibility for the Education and Upbringing of Children."
Several legislative projects of the republic were discussed during the meeting, including amendments to laws on payment services and systems, banking activities, and free economic zones, to be submitted for consideration to the country's parliament.
Instructions and directives were also provided for expanding efforts in landscaping, spring sowing, and preparing for the dignified celebration of the 35th anniversary of the country's independence.
