The Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan has approved new state sanitary norms for the construction and maintenance of greenhouses and greenhouse farms. The regulations cover the selection of sites for greenhouse construction, requirements for heating, ventilation, water supply, and sanitation systems. Additionally, rules for the use of pesticides, biological plant protection agents, and mineral fertilizers are outlined.
The approved standards also specify requirements for protective clothing, personal protective equipment, organization of work, and service for employees. Some points address environmental protection and medical services for workers. These new sanitary rules are mandatory for compliance by all individuals owning greenhouse farms.
