The Prosecutor's Office of the Almaty region has succeeded in securing the payment of salaries to 1043 employees totaling 223 million tenge. According to the supervisory authority, during the analysis, it was revealed that the State Enterprise "Veterinary Station" in the Almaty region had not paid salaries to 1043 employees for January 2024 amounting to 223 million tenge.
Following the supervisory act, the employees' salaries have been fully paid off, and the head of the aforementioned organization has been held accountable under administrative liability with a fine of 150 MCI (553,800 tenge). The specified amount has been settled by the head as of today, as reported by the Prosecutor's Office on March 26.
It was emphasized that legislation imposes responsibility not only under the aforementioned article of the Administrative Code but also within the framework of Article 152, Part 3 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan for delayed salary payments. It was previously reported at the end of 2023 that employers collectively owed their employees 6.4 billion tenge throughout the year.
