In the Karasai District Court of the Almaty Region, a criminal case involving fraud and trespassing was heard against three individuals, including lawyer Lyazzat Zhapasheva and former chairwoman of the cooperative of workers of the "Kamenka" livestock farm, Aminf Zhenisbekova.
According to the court, from September 2021 to May 2023, Zhapasheva and Zhenisbekova represented the consumer cooperative "Former Workers of the Kamenka Livestock Farm". They deceived victims into believing they had the right to obtain certain land plots and promised to assist them in exchange for money.
The court found that Zhapasheva and Zhenisbekova, along with others, unlawfully entered a partially constructed private house, took construction materials, and expelled workers, causing financial damage to the owner. Additionally, one of the individuals received money under false pretenses to assist in obtaining a land plot.
After considering the circumstances, the court sentenced Zhapasheva and Zhenisbekova to three years and six months of imprisonment each, along with 40 hours of community service. Another individual was sentenced to two years of imprisonment. The sentences were based on the severity of the crimes committed.
The verdict has not yet come into legal force, and further legal proceedings may follow. This case highlights the consequences of fraudulent activities and the importance of upholding the law in Kazakhstan.
