Information about the detention of the leaders of the migration service in Taraz has surfaced in Kaznet. The press service of the Police Department of Zhambyl Region commented on these statements.
Reports of the detention were published in the Telegram channel egov.press. According to the publication, some sources indicate that the heads of the migration service in Taraz were detained with a bribe.
In response to a request from a correspondent, the press service of the Regional Police Department confirmed the detention, specifying that it occurred on April 10, 2024. They stated that two employees of the migration service in Taraz were detained by the Department of the National Security Committee in conjunction with the Special Services Department of the Zhambyl Region Police on suspicion of receiving illegal remuneration.
The press service of the Zhambyl Region Police Department also mentioned that a criminal case has been initiated and an internal investigation is ongoing.
