From April 1st to May 3rd, 2024, Shymkent Airport will be closed from 10:30 to 18:30 for runway repairs. Scat airline announced this on March 29th via Instagram.
Passengers are advised to check their flight status through information services, apps, and airline services due to the flight schedule changes caused by the repair work.
Road works are also ongoing on the way to the airport, so passengers are recommended to arrive early and park at the new terminal parking to avoid traffic jams.
