Kazakhstan Faces Road Restrictions Due to Spring Flooding

On April 2, 2024, at 6:00 PM, due to warming temperatures and rapid snowmelt, incidents with spring flooding were recorded on international and republican roads in Kazakhstan, leading to restrictions in four regions.

According to "KazAvtoZhol," restrictions affected four roads in the Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay, and Abai regions, spanning 216 km.

"At the moment, 696 units of equipment and 1618 personnel are involved on the republican roads," the statement said.
