Subsidiaries of KazMunayGas in Mangistau are coming together to support the flood-affected Atyrau region by providing financial, humanitarian aid, and special equipment. Employees from Embamunaygas central office and production units are reinforcing the embankment in Almaly village of Mahambet district.
Ozenmunaygas has contributed equipment for Kulsary, Jiloi district including 4 lifts, 4 loaders, 8 trucks, an excavator, a tanker, and 2 buses. Additionally, a special team and equipment have been dispatched to Jetibai-Kulsary. Ozenmunaigaz, Mangistaumunaigaz, and Karazhanbasmunaigaz have collectively supplied 32 thousand bags, 800 shovels, waterproof footwear, and gloves for embankment reinforcement and dam construction.
Young specialists from Karazhanbasmunaigaz are assisting Atyrau residents at the Aktau evacuation center by distributing food, blankets, clothing, and hygiene items. The Atyrau regional headquarters has directed Embamunaygas to construct a protective dam along an additional 3.6-kilometer stretch to the existing area. Overall, efforts are underway to construct a 5-kilometer dam along the riverbank.
