According to the instructions of the head of state, measures are being taken in the Aktobe region to promptly compensate the damage to those affected by the flood. Residents have already received initial payments, ensuring that no one will be left without assistance.
The press service of the regional akimat stated that 3180 applications have been received from residents of six districts and the city of Aktobe, where a state of emergency was declared. Most of the applicants reside in the Almaty district of the regional center.
Commission members are working diligently to quickly process the documents and obtain assessments from independent evaluators. Currently, compensations totaling over 33.2 million tenge have been disbursed to 14 residents of the region, with the review of applications ongoing.
Additionally, families facing hardship due to the flood continue to receive one-time social assistance in the region. 1272 applications have been submitted for assistance, with 960 citizens already receiving payments totaling 313 million tenge. Preliminary estimates indicate that around 1 billion tenge will be disbursed to three thousand individuals.
During a briefing on April 14 at the Republican Information Center, the official representative of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Shyngys Ilyasov, provided an update on the condition of the electrical networks in the flood-affected regions of the country.
