Rescue Operation Evacuates 70 People in Northern Kazakhstan Village

Rescuers in the North-Kazakhstan region evacuated 70 people from the village of Presnovka. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported the operation.

"Rescuers are currently conducting the evacuation of Presnovka village residents. A total of 70 people have been evacuated. Rescuers have visited all yards, distributed notifications, explained the threat, and the procedures in case of an emergency," the statement said.

Additionally, rescuers are relocating local residents and pets from country houses in the Kyzylzhar district, in the village of Bolshaya Malyshka, to safe locations.

Earlier reports indicated that the flood situation in North-Kazakhstan remains significantly challenging. A total of 111,256 people, including 39,222 children, have been rescued and evacuated since the beginning of the floods in Kazakhstan. By now, 11,991 individuals have returned home.
