Increased Payments to WWII Veterans in Akmola Region for 79th Victory Anniversary

In 2024, the amount of payments to WWII veterans in the Akmola region has been increased for the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. WWII veterans in the Akmola region will receive 3 million tenge each.

As stated by the Akimat of the Akmola region on April 15, there are currently six veterans residing in the region. The regional management of employment and social programs reported that veterans equated in benefits to WWII veterans will also receive payments ranging from 10 to 30 times the Monthly Calculation Index (MCI).

Additionally, individuals who participated in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident and veterans of combat operations in other countries will receive payments equivalent to 25 times the MCI.

It was previously announced that WWII veterans in Almaty will receive 2 million tenge each.
