Asyl Berdikhanov has been appointed as the Akim of Konaev by the decision of the Akim of Almaty region, Askhat Berdikhanov. The announcement was made on April 19, 2024, by the press service of the regional akimat.
Asyl Berdikhanov, born on February 6, 1975, has an extensive educational background. He graduated from Pavlodar Machine-Building College in 1995 with a degree in "Industrial Electrical Equipment," followed by a degree in "Jurisprudence" from S.M. Toraygyrov Pavlodar State University in 2005. In 2015, he specialized in "Electric Power Engineering" at Eurasian Technological University, and in 2017, obtained a master's degree in technical sciences in the field of energy and electrical engineering from S.M. Toraygyrov Pavlodar State University. Furthermore, in 2022, he completed his studies in "Construction" at A. Saginov Karaganda Technical University.
From March 2023 onwards, Asyl Berdikhanov has been serving as the head of the Department of Energy and Housing and Utilities of the Almaty region.
Nurlan Kumataev previously held the position of Akim of Konaev from May 25, 2020. On April 4, 2024, it was announced that he had "resigned at his own request on March 28."
