Almaty Volunteers Send 430 Tons of Humanitarian Aid to Flood-Affected Regions

Almaty volunteers have successfully collected and dispatched 430 tons of humanitarian aid to regions affected by floods. A humanitarian aid collection point is currently operational in Almaty.

Head of the Almaty volunteer front office, Bagdat Anarbayeva, revealed that more than 200 volunteers, over 100 cadets, and about 30 major volunteer organizations are actively participating in the aid collection efforts.

Anarbayeva stated, "To date, 430 tons of humanitarian aid have been gathered and distributed to the affected regions. Our work is ongoing as we stay in constant communication with all impacted areas to assess their needs. Previously, volunteers from our city provided aid to Uralsk and the Atyrau region."

She also expressed gratitude towards major airlines and entrepreneurs in the country who are contributing by assisting in the transportation and delivery of the collected aid to the regions.
