President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has announced that Baku has agreed to a meeting between the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Kazakhstan. According to Turan.az, Aliyev made this statement on April 23 during a meeting with participants of the international forum "COP29 and Green Vision for Azerbaijan" at ADA University.

He mentioned that if Yerevan agrees, the next meeting will take place in Kazakhstan. Aliyev recalled that the agreement known as the "Madrid Principles" did not even have a draft of a peace agreement. "Now it exists, we have a common understanding of what a peace agreement should look like. We just need to work out the details. However, of course, both sides need time," added the President of Azerbaijan.

Earlier, on April 15, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited Armenia on an official visit. Tokayev called for a swift resolution of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
