As of 6:00 PM, due to warming temperatures and rapid snowmelt, overflowing of meltwater across the roadway was recorded on four roads spanning a total of 4300 meters in two regions (Kostanay and North Kazakhstan).
**Kostanay Region**
At 6:15 PM, due to water overflowing, traffic restrictions were imposed on all types of vehicles on the Ekaterinburg – Almaty highway (729-768 km, section bordering Kostanay Region – village Toksan bi).
**North Kazakhstan Region**
At 6:15 PM, due to water overflowing across the road, traffic restrictions were imposed on all types of vehicles on the Ekaterinburg – Almaty highway (686-729 km, section village Sarykol – North Kazakhstan border).
"The traffic restrictions apply to eight republican roads in four regions (Aktobe, Atyrau, Kostanay, North Kazakhstan) spanning a total of 463 km," as stated in the message published on the Telegram channel of AO "NK "KazAvtoZhol."
765 pieces of equipment and 1922 personnel are involved in operations on the republican roads.
