3,000 Families Receive Aid in North Kazakhstan Amid Flooding Crisis

Reports indicate that around 3,000 families in the North Kazakhstan region have already received one-time payments, according to a representative of the akimat of the region.

During a briefing in the North Kazakhstan region, Serik Gaysin, the head of the mobilization training and civil defense department of the akim's office, shared this information.

"A total of 3,807 applications have been submitted to the specially created commissions for compensation to those affected by the floods. 2,972 families have received a one-time payment of 100 MRP, with the total amount of funds paid out exceeding 1 billion tenge," the speaker said.

According to his data, 347 houses have been inspected in total, with assessments conducted for 125 of them. Out of these, 23 houses are eligible for reconstruction. Additionally, 34 summer cottage communities have been flooded in the area.

Ruslan Zhumagaziev, the press secretary of the akim of the Atyrau region, shared the measures being taken by the akimat for the restoration of the city of Kulsary.
