A draft resolution of the government has been prepared for the establishment of the joint-stock company "Kazakhstan Institute of Transport and Logistics" with the main purpose of promoting the sustainable development of the transport industry and providing state support for activities in transport and logistics.
The Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan will allocate 184.6 million tenge from the government's reserve to form the authorized capital of the newly created JSC.
Plans include implementing an Intelligent Transport System to integrate information systems in transport and roads, ensure their uninterrupted operation, and automate necessary digital solutions in the near future.
The document is open for public discussion until May 24 on the "Open Regulatory Legal Acts" website.
Amendments to traffic rules have also recently come into effect in Kazakhstan.
