Anti-flood operations continue in the village of Almaly in the Atyrau region. Due to the rise in water levels in the Zhayyk River, two people and livestock were evacuated from the village of Almaly to a safe location by the Emergency Situations Department of the Atyrau region.
During the period of anti-flood work in this settlement, more than 40,000 units of sandbags were laid and over 8 km of dams were constructed.
Earlier, it was reported that 5.2 million cubic meters of water were pumped out from the flooded areas in Kulsary.
