Almaty's Construction Management Reports Minor Damage After Earthquake

The Almaty Construction Management announced on March 4, 2024, that cracks have been observed in the walls of several educational buildings following an earthquake. According to the department, these damages mainly affect finishing materials and do not impact the structural integrity of the buildings.

A special commission comprising experts from the Emergency Situations Department, KazNIIISA, GASK, district architects, and other authorized bodies will inspect all social facilities. Any necessary measures will be taken based on the findings.
