In the capital, efforts to combat heavy snowfall persist. According to the city administration, 27 thousand cubic meters of snow were removed from the city.

Over 200 road workers and 649 pieces of special equipment worked overnight to clear the streets and sidewalks of snow and ice.

Authorities have stated that since the beginning of the winter season, a total of 6.2 million cubic meters of snow have been transported to snow disposal sites through nearly 462 thousand trips.

The city administration highlighted that snow removal operations are carried out around the clock. Priority is given to clearing central streets, public transport routes, stops, and sidewalks. Drivers are also urged to be cautious on the roads and adhere to speed limits.

Earlier warnings to residents about heavy snowfall in the city did not materialize to the extent expected. The snowfall was moderate, and soon there will be no trace of it left.
