Passenger Bus Overturns on Shymkent - Novosibirsk Route in Russia, Seven Injured

A passenger bus traveling from Shymkent to Novosibirsk overturned in Russia, leaving seven people injured. The incident occurred on the morning of March 17 on a regional road near the village of Grishkovka in the Nemetsky National District, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Altai Territory.

The bus driver lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and overturn. Of the 56 people on board (including two drivers), 54 were passengers, three of whom were children. Russian authorities reported that a total of seven people were injured, all with minor injuries. One person was taken to the Slavgorod city hospital for further treatment.

Traffic on the road was not affected, and the bus was stabilized by the fire and rescue units. The vehicle is in working condition, and the drivers are continuing their journey to Kazakhstan on the same bus. Passengers have been provided with another bus to continue their journey to Novosibirsk, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In a separate incident reported earlier, a fatal accident occurred on March 17 in Almaty, near a large shopping and entertainment center.
