The Committee of National Security has prepared a draft order "On the call-up of conscripts for military training in 2024." According to the text of the project, "In 2024, it is planned to call up 150 conscripts for military training in the departments of the Border Service of the Committee of National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kostanay and East Kazakhstan regions for a period of 15 calendar days."
The explanatory note states that the draft order was developed in accordance with subparagraph 1) of Article 33 of the law "On military service and the status of servicemen," which stipulates that the order for the call-up of conscripts for military training in the military authorities of other troops is issued by the first leader of the authorized state body.
The conduct of military training is provided for in the Plan of organizational and practical measures of the Border Service of the Committee of National Security of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2024. The material and financial support of the draft order (food, clothing, transportation expenses) is planned to be carried out within the allocated budget funds.
The draft is posted on the "Open Regulatory Legal Acts" portal for public discussion until April 5, 2024.
