The launch of the "Soyuz-2.1a" rocket with the "Soyuz MS-25" spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station has been canceled.

The spacecraft's launch was canceled literally a minute before takeoff. "Attention at the launch complex. Automatic launch cancellation. Prepare the launch complex units for the original state. Prepare for a 24-hour delay," the announcer said during the live broadcast by Roscosmos.

The launch was scheduled for March 21 at 18:21 Astana time. The ISS was supposed to receive Russian commander Oleg Novitskiy, Belarusian astronaut Marina Vasilieva, and American astronaut Tracy Dyson.

Earlier, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Artemyev showcased the rocket that was planned for launch. It is known that the launch of the "Soyuz MS-25" spacecraft to the ISS was meant to commemorate the 90th anniversary of the birth of the planet's first cosmonaut, Yuri Gagarin.
