Kazakhstanis Pay Tribute to Victims of Moscow Terror Attack

After the terrorist attack in Moscow claimed dozens of innocent lives, Kazakh citizens gather at the Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan to lay flowers and candles.

Representatives of various ethnic cultural associations in the capital, including Kyrgyz, Belarusian, Bulgarian, and Tatar-Bashkir, express their condolences. Members of the "Russian community of the capital," the Cossack Union of the steppe region, and the Council of Russian compatriots in Kazakhstan also pay their respects.

Residents of the capital and Russian citizens come to honor the memory of the attack victims at the embassy. A similar spontaneous action takes place at the walls of the Russian Consulate in Almaty.

The Russian Embassy in Kazakhstan receives numerous calls and messages from Kazakh officials, members of the public, compatriots, and sympathetic Kazakh citizens expressing condolences for the numerous human casualties in the Moscow terrorist attack. The Embassy appreciates the solidarity and sympathy shown by all friends of Russia.

On March 22, individuals in camouflage stormed the Crocus City Hall in Moscow, with at least three opening fire with automatic weapons shortly before the concert of the rock band "Picnic."

On March 23, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will hold a meeting with the members of the Security Council to discuss measures in response to the terrorist attack in the Russian Federation.
