On March 23, an emergency meeting of the Security Council of Kazakhstan was held under the chairmanship of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The reason for the meeting was the terrorist attack in Russia that claimed over a hundred lives of innocent civilians.

President Tokayev once again condemned the brutal act of violence against peaceful people in the Moscow region. The head of state reaffirmed Kazakhstan's solidarity with Russia in the fight against terrorism.

During the meeting, plans of action of law enforcement agencies and local executive bodies were discussed, as well as issues related to coordinating their activities in emergency situations.

The President issued directives aimed at enhancing security measures for the citizens of Kazakhstan and strengthening cooperation with other countries and international organizations to combat terrorism.
