Secretary-General of the CSTO expresses condolences for the victims of the terrorist attack in Moscow Region

Imangali Tasmagambetov, the Secretary-General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), has expressed his condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" in the Moscow Region.

"We have learned with deep sorrow about the inhumane terrorist attack that took place at the concert hall 'Crocus City Hall' in the Moscow Region. The tragedy resonates with pain in our hearts. As a result of this terrorist act, innocent civilians lost their lives, and many others were injured. We strongly condemn this cruel and unjustifiable crime. We mourn deeply with you. Allow me to express my personal and the Secretariat of the Organization's sincere condolences to the families of the deceased and wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured," Tasmagambetov wrote on Telegram.

Earlier, it was reported that Kazakhstan strongly condemns the terrorist act in Moscow. President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev made a statement regarding this. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan stated that there is no information about Kazakhstani citizens among the deceased in Moscow.

On March 22, at least three people wearing camouflage uniforms stormed into the "Crocus City Hall" and opened fire with automatic weapons. The shooting began a few minutes before the concert of the rock band "Picnic." According to preliminary data, 40 people were killed, and over 100 were injured.
