in National Security / Kazakhstan - by

The spacecraft "Soyuz MS-25" launched on March 23 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome has successfully docked with the International Space Station on March 25. On board the station are Oleg Novitskiy, Marina Vasilieva, and Tracy Dyson.

Upon opening the hatches, they were greeted by Oleg Kononenko, Nikolai Chub, Alexander Grebenkin, Loral O'Hara, Matthew Dominick, Michael Barratt, and Janett Epps. Oleg and Marina are set to spend 14 days in orbit before returning home on April 6 aboard Soyuz MS-24 with Loral O'Hara.

Tracy Dyson will stay in space for 184 days and is scheduled to land on September 23 on Soyuz MS-25 alongside Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub.

Earlier, the launch of the Soyuz MS-25 spacecraft from Baikonur on March 21 was canceled just a minute before liftoff. The reason for the launch cancellation was a voltage drop in a chemical power source.
