Investigation Begins in Tajikistan Following Terrorist Attack in Moscow's "Crocus City Hall"

Investigative actions have commenced in Tajikistan after the terrorist attack at "Crocus City Hall" in Moscow. According to a source within the country's law enforcement agencies speaking to RIA Novosti, the progress of the investigation is under the control of Tajikistan's President Emomali Rahmon. He is briefed daily on the investigation and investigative actions regarding the attack at "Crocus City Hall" conducted in Dushanbe.

The source mentioned that investigative measures with the relatives of the accused in the attack are taking place in Dushanbe. It is noted that all the suspects lived near Dushanbe - in the cities of Vahdat, Hissar, and the Rudaki district before moving to Russia. On March 22, 2024, individuals in camouflage stormed into the "Crocus City Hall" foyer and opened fire with automatic weapons, just minutes before the rock band "Picnic" concert. The incident resulted in 139 fatalities.

On March 25, the arrest of four suspects in the "Crocus attack" case was authorized, and they admitted their guilt. Later, it was revealed that three more suspects were arrested: a father and his two sons. On March 26, 2024, another suspect in the organization of the "Crocus City Hall" attack in the Moscow region, Alisher Kasimov, was arrested. Therefore, Alisher Kasimov becomes the eighth suspect in the organization of the "Crocus City Hall" attack.
