Parliamentary Assembly of CSTO Condemns Terrorist Attack in Moscow Region

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) issued a statement regarding the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall shopping and entertainment center in Krasnogorsk, Moscow region.

Heads of parliamentary delegations of CSTO member states condemned the brutal terrorist attack that occurred at the Crocus City Hall shopping center.

"We, the heads of parliamentary delegations of CSTO member states in the Parliamentary Assembly of the organization, strongly condemn the act of a cruel and cynical terrorist attack that took place on March 22, 2024, in the Moscow region and resulted in numerous casualties among civilians," the statement published on March 26 on the CSTO PA website said.

On March 22, 2024, individuals in camouflage stormed the Crocus City Hall and opened fire with automatic weapons. The shooting began shortly before the concert of the rock band "Picnic."

On March 25, the arrest of four suspects in the Crocus terrorist attack case was sanctioned. They admitted their guilt. Later, it was revealed that three more suspects, a father and two sons, had been arrested. On March 26, the eighth suspect was charged, and he will remain in custody until May 22.
