Monitoring Confirms Stability After Earthquake in Kazakhstan

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported that following the earthquake that occurred on the morning of March 6, monitoring of the affected areas has been conducted.

According to the statement released by the department, "Nothing unusual is observed along the patrol routes, the situation is stable."

Earlier, we reported on a magnitude 2 earthquake that was felt by residents of Almaty at 05:09 on March 6. Additionally, we highlighted 10 simple steps to follow during an earthquake, which were reiterated by the rescue teams.

Residents of upper floors were also reminded of the actions to take in the event of an earthquake.
