Irgiz District in Aktobe Region Declares State of Emergency

In the Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, another district, Irgiz, has declared a state of emergency due to natural disasters. The decision was announced on the official social media page of the local authorities.

The district head, Nurlan Kyzbergenov, stated, "I declare a state of emergency of a local nature in the territory of the Irgiz district of the Aktobe region. I appoint myself as the head of the emergency response to carry out necessary measures."

Following the news on April 8, Aktobe city and six other districts in the Aktobe region also declared a state of emergency. The flooding in the region has caused damage to , with 1053 residential houses, 46 buildings, 232 yards, and 689 summer cottages being affected, as reported by Asylbek Yesenbayev, the deputy head of the Aktobe region.

Meanwhile, the affected individuals in the Aktobe region have started receiving compensation for the damages caused by the floods.
