in National Security / Kazakhstan - by

Kazakhstan's National Guard troops have been actively involved in providing security and assistance in flood-affected areas of Aktobe and Kostanay regions. In Kostanay, the troops have secured areas, conducted patrols to prevent looting, and restricted movement in high-risk flood zones.

They have also worked to reinforce the Tobol River banks by deploying over 13,000 sandbags. In Aktobe, the troops have focused on preventing looting and providing fuel for recovery efforts in Shubarkuduk and Uil. The efforts of over 1,500 officers, cadets, and soldiers from the National Guard across the country highlight the unity in responding to natural disasters. Furthermore, 700 National Guard cadets and soldiers are also contributing to relief efforts in the North Kazakhstan region.
