Prosecutors in Pavlodar Region have successfully returned a land plot worth over two billion tenge to the state. The Department of Land Resources Management filed a lawsuit to declare the land lease agreement invalid. Initially denied, the decision was later overturned on appeal by the Pavlodar Region Prosecutor's Office. The plot, intended for local cattle grazing, could not legally be leased due to its classification as residential land.
In a separate incident, prosecutors in Almaty returned a portion of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University (KazNPU) building to the state. The building, recognized for its historical and cultural significance, is classified as a monument of national importance, ensuring its protection and preservation.
