Earlier, it was reported that in the Akmola region, to prevent ice jams on the rivers Zhabai, Zhylandy, Nura, and Esil, explosive works were carried out by the regional Emergency Situations Department and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. As a result of these measures, 10 ice jams were eliminated.
