Counterterrorism Exercises Conducted in Two Villages of Turkestan Region

Representatives of law enforcement agencies gathered in two villages of the Turkestan region on April 17 to conduct anti-terrorism exercises. The villages of Shayan in the Baydibek district and Temirlan in the Ordabasy district will be hosting these exercises.

The purpose of the event is to practice the practical skills of law enforcement and special state agencies in responding to and preventing acts of terrorism. Measures to restrict movement on certain streets in the settlements have been put in place in connection with the ongoing activities, according to a statement from the Turkestan regional operational headquarters for combating terrorism.

Citizens are urged to understand the importance of the training exercises, follow safety measures, comply with the lawful requirements of the involved state officials, rely only on official sources of information, and refrain from spreading false information among the population.
