A visa-free regime agreement between Kazakhstan and Thailand was signed on April 23, 2024, in Bangkok during the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, to Thailand.
The document was signed by the Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Thailand, Murat Nurtleu and Panpri Bahiddha-Nukara.
"The agreement provides for visa exemption for a period of up to 30 days, totaling 90 calendar days within each period of 180 calendar days. The document will come into force after completion of domestic procedures," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informed.
On April 22, 2024, it was announced that the government had adopted a resolution on April 18, 2024, regarding the signing of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand on visa exemption for holders of national passports.
