Almaty firefighters successfully defended entrepreneurs' property from fire at the "Zhibek Zholy" shopping center. The Department of Emergency Situations of Almaty received a report of a building fire in the Turksib district at Safiullin Avenue, 9A. The fire started in office equipment on the 4th floor, spreading to furniture in the administrative area, covering an area of 20 sq. m.
Upon arrival, gas and smoke protection service teams organized the evacuation of visitors. A fire ladder truck was deployed, fire hoses were put into operation, and a continuous water supply was ensured.
Thanks to the efforts of the rescuers, the boutiques of the entrepreneurs were saved from the fire. Earlier, it was reported that firefighters in Astana saved a girl from a fire.
