Operational headquarters for combating terrorism have addressed the residents of three regions of Kazakhstan - Zhambyl, Ulytau, and Karaganda.
Zhambyl Region
On April 29, 2024, the Zhambyl Regional Operational Headquarters for Combating Terrorism is conducting the "Taraz - Antiterror - 2024" exercises in Taraz.
"We urge citizens to understand the ongoing exercises, possible temporary restrictions on the movement of the population and vehicles, observe security measures, and comply with the lawful requirements of state officials."

The goal is to assess the readiness level of the forces and resources of law enforcement and special agencies to prevent various terrorist threats.
Ulytau Region
The Ulytau Regional Operational Headquarters for Combating Terrorism has planned anti-terrorism exercises in the territory of Zhezkazgan from April 29 to April 30.
"Due to the planned activities, measures are envisaged to restrict movement on certain streets of Zhezkazgan. We ask guests and residents of the city to understand the temporary restrictions, observe security measures, comply with the lawful requirements of the state officials involved, trust only official sources of information, and not spread false information."
Ulytau Regional Operational Headquarters for Combating Terrorism
The aim of the anti-terrorism training event is to practice the practical skills of the forces and resources of law enforcement and special state agencies in emergency response and prevention of a hypothetical act of terrorism.
Karaganda Region
An educational event on emergency response to terrorist activities is planned at the Nura Stadium in Nura village (Abdirova Street, No. 55) in the Karaganda Region on April 29 from 10:00 to 14:00.
"Restriction measures are planned at the Nura Stadium building. In this regard, we urge citizens to understand the educational events, comply with the lawful requirements of the involved state officials, trust only official sources of information, and prevent the spread of false information among the population."
